摘要：Clustering has long been a fundamental problem that has attracted research interest in  artificial intelligence and combinatorial optimization fields over the years. This presentation will focus on recent research mainstream of fair clustering models, motivated by privacy awareness in modern machine learning tasks. We introduce colorful fairness from both facility and client perspectives based on our recent work on colorful k-clustering. Our results on colorful fair sum of radii from both client and facility perspectives remain state-of-the-art and our proposed techniques have inspired many subsequent milestone studies, for example the QPTAS for sum of radii [Bartal Y et al, FOCS2024].

报告人简介：许宜诚，中国科注册送彩金 深圳先进技术研究院副研究员，博士生导师。研究方向是组合优化、近似算法，近年在聚类算法理论及算法公平性等方面发表CCF A/B类论文三十余篇，获WASA、TAMC等国际会议最佳论文奖，主持国家重点研发计划子课题、国家自然科学基金面上项目、广东省自然科学基金优秀青年项目、中国科注册送彩金 国际交流计划项目等。
